In 1948 Guilla Company has been founded by Guilla Giuseppe in the little town “Borgovercelli”…only two people was employed...
In 1963 the market request’s increase allows Guilla’s family to move in Vercelli in a new structure where, in 1988, the firm’s area has been triplicated by Guilla’s son Franco and his wife Eli, in order to receive the European casings from the foreign countries.
In 1994 Guilla obtains the ECC making for agro-food production and in 1998 a new laboratory has built in order to produce the more requested articles: tubed sheep casings and peeled hog casing. In 2002 Guilla becomes member of “Consorzio per la Tutela del Budello Naturale” and, 2 years after, it obtains the quality certification UNI EN ISO 9001.
In 2005 a direct importation from the best South America and China slaughter-houses had been introduced.
The family tradition goes on and in 2006 Paola, Guilla’s daughter, becomes member of the Society.
Guilla Company is able to replay to the market’s new changes, meeting the customers’ requirements and a new increase of the Society is necessary: Walter and Matteo Calciolari brothers become the new Company’s member: the employed people now are twenty...
